Weirdly enough, I got a terminal speed of 95 on a 15.54 run, and 96 on a 14.56 run. The 93 I got on my fastest run (14.43) was my second slowest, after getting 91.74 on a 15.47 run. None of it makes sense to me.

a better launch, then slight mess-up on a gear change can easily give you your best time with you crossing the line slower

I do, and can, but why is my terminal speed all over the place, and not corresponding with my time, that's what I don't understand.

Because of the short distance there are many factors. You could run for terminals and get rubbish times. (Reason for the thread, thanks for taking the time to sort and maintain Frankie )

It was more the correlation between run time and terminal speed I was questioning. I can understand slow time, slow T.S., and vice versa, but slow time fast T.S. and vice versa doesn't make sense to me. Guess I need to spend more time on the strip.

I'd rather get a quick time than a high T.S.

Very true, but when I change gear I hope to be in the middle of the power/torque curve. No point changing gear at the power/torque peak, and being off boost for the next gear.
