It was up for sale recently as i wanted a 3 litre 960,but that fell through,so i decided to keep her
and persevere despite the trouble ive had with her.
Every now and again, the engine would turn over, but wouldnt fire.
Then after an hour or so would start up fine.
Then it happened again,so called r a c out and they said it was the crankshaft position sensor at fault,so
i went out and bought one. That didnt solve the problem.
Bought a haynes manual and got the codes up from the obd1
came up no signal from camshaft sensor.
Now im waiting for a camshaft sensor to fit, hope it solves the problem.(fingers crossed)
I would hate to get rid as this is one of the best cars ive ever owned, and for the money,
would be hard to find something that would match powerwise.

I might have a cam sensor lying about in my bag of bits, I won't be able to look straight away but If there is one there you can have it for the price of postage.
I know what you mean there what other car could I have bought for less than a grand with 260bhp as standard? None

Wooooohoooo, its working again.Cam pos sensor was the culprit
Got me a spare ecu aswell,so ill get my chip soldered in this week.
Not sure what it is though,it came with the car.
Says from sweden on the envelope, but on the chip itself, says
made in singapore.Think its a powerchip.

    Update.
Got my brother to solder in the chip socket this afternoon.
I wasnt expecting it to work
Pushed the chip in,put it on car and it started.
Took her up the road and its boosting off the gauge as far as it will go
    with loads more power.
    Its totally transformed the car.
Bit worried though as i havent bought a boost gauge yet
so im not going to push it.
Im a very happy bunny now.
24 hrs ago,my car was dead,
    now its very much alive.
