    Odd Squeak

    Hi All,

Hopefully you can help or point me in the right direction.

On full left lock the car has a squeak but only when it's moving. However if you turn the wheel a little bit it goes away.

Also on full right lock there is no squeak.

    any ideas?

    Andy

Could be that one of your lock stop nylon pads has worn away, it's fixed to the wishbone, if one side has gone then you will get metal on metal contact on full lock in one direction.

you can replace them - they are riveted on and we keep them in stock now.

they should be greased to prevent excess noise and friction when turning , so if you're lucky it might just be this.
