Well this is whats getting me here...
lots of people saying they will as they are the same, ebay lists a set for 850/v/s/c70
ive heard the rear lower shock mounts are a different width to the 70

But are they the same as 850?
The suppliers won't advise on fitment, they say all they know is they fit the 850....
And also that they are now going to be towards the end of next week

not sure if this will link ok - bilstein catalogue online

    http://web1.carparts-cat.com/default...01&52=1&30=120

this is a search on the rear damper fitments. i presume the fixing points are also the same on a s70/v70 AWD , but they always had nivomat as standard

i doubt it, the AWD uses a modified 700/900 rear axle

    Why dont do it dave?
No i also doubt the the awd is the same... although i hear the 900 series back end fits into the 70 for a rwd setup .... the definition of the word fits is what i wonder.

checked about the AWD thing - the rear shox are different as the lower fixing has a bar through it rather than an eyelet.

so the correct answer is- you cant fit a 2wd type shock on an AWD they are not interchangeable .

I'm still waiting on them tomorrow I hope, I will upload results when they are fitted.
I've had cheap coilovers on a few cars (mainly small vws) and was an ultimate mod.... I'm guessing they are going to be firm but I like that, once the arb's are sorted should handle well
And I find the c pretty good in the twists... Yes its roles and its quite soft but that's only what Volvo intended for it, but I find its really well balanced.
I think the aerodynamics will be much better once its lower.... Feels a bit floaty at 130 upwards

I think that's what Wobbly was moaning at. People seem to forget (or didn't know) is with coil overs you can change the springs to whatever prefence you want, not just stuck with the harsh ride you MAY get with the default springs
