Few question, im a bit rusty, lol

    Right so here goes, lol

Ive bought the C70 at the weekend, 68k, fvsh, the owner said that he had a code cleared off of it in December ( p1171 ) but alas its come back on

Ive read up a few older posts which tend to lead me towards the MAF or O2 sensors ??????

Which would be best to check first ? Unplug the maf see if any difference ?

I have noticed over the last 3 years the lambda readings creeping up and it just passed at 1.03 ( right on the limit ) it was 1.01 last year and 0.99 the year before.

Maybe a cat / lambda cleaner or does it steer more towards the lambda sensor itself ?

Also it feels slow, do these ME7 have a " learning " ECU ? The more i drive it quick the quicker it seems to be getting over time, but still feels slow compared to my 850.

Thats all for now i think,

    Cheers guys

    Lee

I have a spare MAF if you want to try it out. Just for the cost of return postage. If you decide to keep it then I am sure we can arrange something?

ME7 is on demand and will feel a bit different.

There is a fuel trim in the map.

    HTH

I also have spare o2 sensors if you need them?

I crashed one years ago - so I have bits from that & last year Bubba & I bought a C70 for spares or repair. We ripped it up & we both got the bits we needed plus another load of bits.

Carb or brake cleaner will do it proper justice, needs a steady hand with a cotton bud though.
