s60 2.0t and swiss cheese back box.

    Hello again guys and girls.

The exhaust on my 2.0t has been sounding like there's no pressure in it for weeks.

Managed to get it up on the ramps at my mechanics and its got more hole in it then Swiss cheese. Also looks like it's been badly welded at some point in it life as well.

So with it needing a new one I thought "I wonder if there's anything that I can fit in its place that might make it breath/sound a bit better?".

Would for instance putting say a T5 exhaust system on fit or make any difference.

What kind of price am I looking at replacing standard / aftermarket as budget is limited?

    Thanks in advance.

    Matt

There's a Jetex (I think) backbox for £190 on fleabay, may not be jetex but it's a known brand. Direct replacement.

Thanks Graeme I will bare that in mind.

Would anyone with more knowledge than myself now if a T5 back box would fit a 2.0T with regards to size, mountings and such?

    Cheers
