    1998 V70 R - More "OOMPH"

    Yo guys!

Ive got a few things to sort out on the ole gal before I actually start doing anything, but I was just wondering what "can" be done for a few extra ponies.

Obviously I can get a rica ecu, is it advisable to then fit a MBC and crank it up a few lbs?

Long term plans will be a custom zorst and tighten her up with polybushes and braces (is a big ole barge afterall!)

Also what turbo is standard on my car?

    Cheers DOODS!

Is it a manual or an auto? If its an auto i'd stay away from an mbc.

    auto+mbc=bent rods

From what I've read it slightly improves throttle response?
As for a manual boost controller I've had experience with a bleed valve & I'm leaving that §§§§ well alone!!! Lol

a proper MBC is alot better than a bleed valve, i'd still be using one if i hadn't upgraded to a EBC (electric boost controller)

I had an electronic one on my primera gti-r. Was good fun but for my needs now I think a remap will suffice. I'll look into the rip kit though, if it makes that much difference for cheap £ I'll be happy.
