Dam, are they going to strip it down to rebuild or is it going to be a new angle gearbox.
Do you think the weather was the last straw for it.

No it's getting a new one, no I first heard the noise yesterday before the snow, pyaap remapped it for me, he told me to really go and push the car over the next few days just to make sure if anything is going to go it will go down here, so I gave it a good few power runs, only one from a stand still but not totally hammering it for fear I recked the clutch, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. BTW if you ever want yours mapped contact pyaap he has so much knowledge with these cars it's unreal, he also has a monster S60R that has no expense spared on it.
    Thanks

Ashok is a really nice guy, I used to see him from time to time through the VOC forum. He used to have a rather nice T4 back in the day.

Glad that your problems are on the way to being fixed, though sorry to hear of the extra one that you didn't need!!!

I think he still has his t4. I've been talking to him and he told me that the Volvo oil that's in the angle gear isn't the best, he recommended I use redline stuff and said he has a box at mrg just use that and replace it. There are some saints out there.
    Thanks

It's sure is, I wouldn't care if it was only me here, I would just stay in. Having the family here means we need to go out all day and find things to do
    Thanks
