    OMG!!! Ian your going for it.......god knows why you decided to do it on the car, I have a spare one here somewhere! As I told you, it takes forever, even with tools, to get a smooth finish. The git is the texture on the 'sides' of each pipe...or areas that aren't directly on the top, and especially around the split line of the casting. I found it easier to completely get rid of this cast line so you can easily get to the texture around that area too.

    ......once you've started you have to finish though GOOD LUCK!!!!

    Also, be really careful not to ingest that dust mate, it's really bad for you! Make sure appropriate masks and eye protectors are worn as you can ingest through the eyes too.

    It's far too easy to be critical of our own cars mate. You've got nowt to lose by trying. There's plenty of tatty volvos that have won awards from time to time, just depends who else is there

    Beautifull car mate,its a credit to you. Gives me something to aim for with mine. Love how the splitter looks to in Carbon, I must get around to making one of those for mine one of these days.
