    Diagnostic Help

Hi all long time since I posted but need a favour if anyone can help ? We've just bought a P2 V70 d5 and my snap on diagnostic unit for some reason won't let me read the codes and I've got 2 messages screaming at me from the on board screen.

It's running like a dog , no turbo spool at all and a smell of diesel when she's running, is there anyone close to Leicester who has vadis who could possibly read and clear codes so I can make some headway in getting the thing running right ?

Beer tokens and tea are a given 😉

If you were closer, I'd be on it like a convict on a nun.

Hello mate how are things in glorious Hertfordshire , if it was running a bit better I'd happily come down but not pushing my luck with her to be honest , the heater blower has just randomly started on its own now after being parked up an hour ago !!

I sense a painful journey with this one

From what you've said so far i would be checking following...

    1) EGR valve - Remove, clean thoroughly and refit.
    2) Turbocharger - remove induction hose and check free play on turbo vanes and that the impeller rotates freely and spins without seizing up.
    3) Remove underbelly tray (if fitted) and physically check each Turbo hose and check for splits and security
    4) Check Inter cooler for any cracks.

    Good luck.
