    Volvo S40

    Hi.
So i'm new to this volvo forum, and owning a volvo.

So little story about the car, This is my first car and first volvo, bought it unexpectedly, from friends brother back in december last year.

    The car it self:

Volvo S40 1.6 55reg 85k miles on clock. Running gear in good condition and engine as well, but the visual is quite poor condition.
When i bought it the front bumper was cracked, because he hit the Pheasent, odd dent in the back off car, and a lot off scratches all around the car.

i though i will just drive with it for a while and sell it as it is, but couldnt stand seeing it like that, so slowly started doing little jobs on it.

First was to have a proper inspection all around and asses the how much work i really need to do.
The first thing on the list was front bumper, that was cracked and hanging loose.
    Drivers side wing
    Dent in the back
    Door mirror that's cracked
    and scratches

So this is how it looked when i bought it, all dirty and everything:

so the first jobs started with bumper... took me few hours to get it done, but it was cracked in nasty place as well:

So next now is to do dent and paint the front bumper and wing.

As i needed new tires as well started looking for new alloys, and came across these BBS CH with tires on and got them instead.
So this is how the car looks so far, need lowering but thats in near future, first is body work:

Thank you for viewing updates will follow.
And got the original alloys for sale now if interested send PM and few more things.

Really like the wheels mate! Once lowered it will look fantastic. BBS CH are my all time favourite wheel. I'd love a set for my V40 T4 but my car has a rare stud pattern so I cant find CH for it. I'm having to make do with some Volvo Arcadias which arrive tomorrow!

The first time doing something like that with bumper, how i was thinking the worst that could happen is puting on new bumper after, if it doesnt work out.

Yes lowering is definitely, on top 3 list at the moment after, painting and new MOT.

THe other things in far future are, heico body kit, and cream leather interior.. but that goes in big £ at the moment..
