Hey guys,
Returning to the fold after a bit of time away, had a '97 850 AWD 2.5 lpt which I sold still going strong with 234k on it
Been runining various things since but today I've collected an '06 S40 sport D, really pleased with it especially for what I paid for it
Anyway, I only got one key with the car, had a look on eBay and can't see a key the same and I fear going to the local dealer in Dundee so any suggestions on getting a spare key would be greatly appreciated

Not sure on where to get a spare key but I'd say that being an 06 plate you'll need a visit to the dealer as the key will need programming.1996 Olive Green 850 AWD - Follow the Project - Forged rods, 19T, big blue injectors, 960 TB, 3.25" MAF, Ostrich, 608 binary, arduino data display, active exhaust control with Focus RS tips, 320mm front brake conversion.

The local dealer in Dundee haha can you actually call it that, Volvo is squeezed into a tiny corner of the showroom now. What a shame to see them mingling with lesser brands.

Thanked 12 Times in 12 Postswell after a bit of sctratching about on the web it seems the stealers is the only place to get a replacement key,
apparently the key pack comes with a code card which is needed during the coding process so it's a one time deal, used keys cannot be coded to a different car so it seems....
anyway the cost quoted wasn't that bad, £143 for the key and the coding.
