    Name that part?

    While messing in the engine bay today I came across this, can anyone tell me what it's for?

    Was next to the inlet manifold and throttle body, I mean what the blue screw cap is connected to!

    Yup, it's the fuel rail, I know that 'cause thats what the guy attached his Terraclean machine to.

    its the Schrader valve on the fuel rail, you use it to de-pressure the fuel rail or testing the pressure

    thats wierd, i got a straight threaded joining tube thing in my wizards of nos kit that fitted it.
    so if you had the connection on the fuel rail it was the easy option - just take the inner valve piece out with a tyre valve tool(same size) and away u go.

    ah i didn't buy a complete kit like that, i sourced everything individually but still did look for a fitting with no luck (might have to have another look now, just in case lol)

    ring them pedro - they dont bother listing all of the fittings seperately online. they were a pretty helpful bunch.
