They look like the ones I have in mine, and, you get ARP bolts with them
Don at Kalmar do some too

Cheers paul do you have to buy certain shells to match them or is it just a case of buying the same shell as being removed from the car
Big end bearings are all the same, unless your crank has been reground at some point, its the main bearings that come in different sizes.
Tim Williams can also get the rods.
There was a comparison thread on VS covering the chinese made rods (including the Max Speeding rods)
http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/topic...na-comparison/
Sten Parner also does them (best to contact them though as their website is in Swedish and google can only translate so much)

And THS still do them

Think the general consensus is wherever you get them from they are better than stock rods unless you're looking for mega bhp.

Had a look around, theres not much info on whether the bearings have locating tabs, it seems the early engines had them but later ones didn't. The part number listed covers a lot of engines up to recent years but information on whether this part has tabs or not.

well i'm in even more of a tiss as i don't know whether to stay with 139mm rods & current pistons, or go 143mm with the newer shorter pistons
Even more confusing, found this thread saying that whiteblocks don't have tabs

Right took the cap off the rod to have a look the rods do have very little cut back bit for what reason i dont know as the shells are smooth and have no locators on them to fit in
Will do buddy it will be a few days tho
