    94 reg 850 n/a gearbox wine

    just wondering if anyone has had this problem before? my mates 94 reg 850 manual has a noise coming from the gearbox when driving, its not a clunking its like a bearing noise and the sound seems to be coming from the box and not the wheel bearing

    Check the gearbox oil level, If it whines in all gears it`s more and likely a dif brg.

    it does wine in all gears and oil been changed

    I`d put some thicker oil in it

    I thought the 2.0ltr was the only came as a 10v

    noise does not got when clutch is depressed and doesnt make a sound while not moving

    I still think it`s a dif brg, either turn the radio up or change the box if one turns up
