    Peg replicas?

What are they like for starters? Are they worth buying or best to avoid?

If all is good, where is the best place to buy that can ideally do a deal on tyres? Found a company on ebay but not sure if i'd be doing the right thing, havnt got a price with tyres just seen the advert.

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/17-Volvo-A...51162658546%26

Happy to buy second hand but volans or pegs dont seem to come up for sale often.

    Cheers. Simon.

Some are fantastic and some not so good, I had a perfect set of Peg replica's but they were top dollar.

Those look a poorer example to be truthful as the spokes look to be the wrong depth.

If I were to buy again though I'd wait for a genuine set to pop up, they may command top dollar but there is obviously a reason that you can buy a set of four replica's for less than one genuine new wheel.

I got my set from here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380541879326 these are volvo ones not copy's.
This seller is a Volvo main dealer in Germany.
If you look at this seller in the new year he has a lot more for sale ok these are 18" but he does sell 17" and they are cheaper as well.

Really depends, not focusing on quality but on an S60R you really feel the difference between Genuine and Reps but on any other car especially if you haven't used genuine before I'm not sure you are going to miss anything.

I have both and don't notice any difference between the two.

Increased balance on hard steering. Maybe your replicas were closer to the real thing then most...............or I'm just sensitive.

If you look closely you can tell the difference, especially around the rim and the recess for the nuts.

But for the price, I'm more than happy... They even fitted them for me!

I think they may be a bit more "Wobbly" than genuine Pegs though, as the ride isn't half as hard as I thought it would be... Soft ar5ed 960 suspension isn't really suited to big wheels/low profile tyres!!

One thing I noticed with with Oblark's peg reps was they're slightly heavier than genuine ones. Very good quality though.
