1983 Volvo 240
Green HornetGot bored on monday so I decided to take my old engine apart, The bores are showing signs of wear and so are the shell brgs.
I`ve spent the morning steam cleaning all the parts off, then this afternoon phoning around for prices.
I can get a re-bore for £60-80 plus vat but the cost goes through the roof for 0.40mm oversize pistons, £591.10 inc vat plus del from FRF volvo.
Does anyone no of a good company that sells good quaility pistons ???
