    adding puddle lights

i want to add puddle lights onto Bonny (2002 S60 D5). Now i'm guessing that as there are currently no lights on the door i'm going to have to add some wiring, how easy is it get extra wires into the door of a P2 (i'll just bridge off the footwell lights)

    many thanks

There's room to feed a draw-wire through the rubber conduit. It'll be fiddly - you'll need to unplug the door inside the pillar and feed through. You'll also need to remove some trim from the footwell.

Something I'll probably have a crack at soon
19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

    310.2bhp / 333ft/lb

    Got an old discovery now.

I've just brought some for the 850, so it reads Volvo when I unlock the car, I'm putting mine inside the wing mirror so it reads on the floor, just like the new landrovers, you can buy them off eBay, I paid £13.50.
As for the wiring I presume bonny is harder than the 850 as I threaded the wires in about 5 mins.

yours are alot smaller than mine, think mine are first gen & yours are 5watt instead of my 3watt

i think they'll look good under the mirrors, but not actually light much up for you when getting in the car etc

LED strips dont stand up well to the elements - I was looking into fitting some under the door cill to come on with the interior lights. They dont seem sturdy enough to cope with damp and road salt for long, without being encapsulated... Then they just look like fekkin halfrauds neons
