    Engine rebuild ???

Got bored this afternoon so I took my old engine apart. The main and big end brgs look good with little wear.

But the bores do have some wear in them and they is signs of oil getting past the compression rings.
The max gap on the piston rings in the bore should be 0.20mm - 0.40mm and mine are 0.60mm so the bores are worn.
As the pistons are "D" piston the bores should be 81.01mm - 81.02mm

My question is this where can I get either 0.5mm or 1.0mm oversize piston and rings OR do I just fit new piston rings ??

Get it bored out to 81.2mm or 81.4 mm then you can fit volvo (melhe) pistons, good for 400bhp, and cheaper than 81.5 forged one's.

I am based in Leeds my 1995 850 T5 auto petrol engine is leaking oil from the engine. I don't know where. Is there anyone who would be interested to fix it at a reasonable price I don't mind replacing the engine with a newer one either if it is cheaper alternative. Thanks.

could be simple like a turbo return, or a headache like a rear main, (Gearbox off job)
