    245/40 r18 97y

    TYRES ??

    Anyone got any idea's on what are realy quiet (road noise wise)
    2010 S80 245/40 R18 97Y
    I need to get rid off the rubbish Champino's on my car !
    ive got terrible road noise at mo

    and now I want some realy quiet tyes
    HeLp..! Idea's ..?

    im running Avon ZV5s 225/45/17 they are quiet and really good in the wet, if you keep an eye out national tyres often do a buy one get one free on these

    I think you can get avons in your size.... I'll go check...
    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

    Ok, Click here The first tyre, the Bravuris 2 is a very good budget all rounder. I used them myself before I got the Avon ZV5s.
    The ZZ5 would be ideal for your car but by 'ek they aint cheap! Looks like you have a very expensive tyre size - have a look at the ones at the bottom of the list!

    £450 for a tyre

    As deathrider311271 says Avon's are very quiet and good in the wet, I also have the ZV5's thanks to M-R-P's recommendation, maybe see if you can get a deal on the ZZ5's

    Cotinental conti sport is also a noisy tyre,now I have the Bridgestone Potenza S001 that is a very good tyre & noise is a lot less then the conti's
    unfortunally the S001 isn't cheap

    Ive Put 245/40/18 97Y XL BF Goodrich G-Grip Tyres On It Now..!
    £600 For All 4..

    A Real Improvment
    Lost The Bad Road Noise, & It Goes Where I Point It Now !!
    Feels Right On The Rd Again Now !!
