Have a look at Silverlake scrapyard, it's near you and usually has loads of cars in.
I'll watch my local one too as you're not too far from me and I know sotton well.

Ok , i managed (thanks to oblark ) to source a rad from the scrappy after a long search , mainly because my rad was scarce due to my volvo only being produced for a couple of years , (think i have that right lo;l ) it has a tube that goes back to the expantion bottle , oblark showed me a piece on his 850 (the themostat housing ) had this extra tube on it so i could use an 850 or v70 xt etc rad , opening up the choice for me by miles , i'll put some piccys up later to help explain more as i think this will be useful to other v70 users/owners

I see no reason why a 850 or eaarly V70 rad wont fit, as long as the fixing bolts line up.
As for the small pipe that goes to the expansion tank, on the 850 it`s on the rad side of stat and on the V70 it`s on the rad. The location of the pipe doesn`t make any difference to the operation of the expansion tank.

yes the rad fix you showed me worked , so ment i had a much wider choice of rad from the scrappy ,by just changing the thermostat housing
