    S60 D5 short shift kit

    Hi guys.

Done a search and can't find anything specific.
    I'm interested in a short shift kit for my 2002 S60 D5.
Can anyone suggest a good supplier and/ or point me towards a how-to guide?
A search on google gives mixed results and I'd like the opinions of some of the experts on here.

Is it a tricky job? Pricey? Is it even worth doing to a 10 year old D5?

    Thanks in advance.

If you have the old style linkage, then its easy. If however, you have the newer style ball joint connection, the hassle may not be worthwhile.
Can you post a pic of the shift linkage in top of the gear box?
I may still have a s/s kit somewhere...

Can't get to the car at the moment unfortunately.
Can you describe what I'm looking for and where at all.

    Thanks Martin. Damn you're quick!
Liking the new sig pic btw :-)

Under the air filter box is the gearbox, on top is a black weighted lever with a big cable connected to it. Where the cable connects to the lever, if it has a washer and a clip holding it on, you're in luck. If it has a plain white plastic cap, it'll be the ball joint type and probably not worth the agro.

Thanks, the Sig pic is a bit of a fill-in till I finish the new one
