    no speedo

    hi guys got my 850r last night and speedo and trip not working ,, changed clocks this morning got trip but still no speedo any ideas
    BLACK PEARL IN DA HOUSE ARRRGGGG!!!!!!

    Speedo gets its signal from the abs unit

    If its before 96 then the Speedo gets it signal from a sensor on the back of the gearbox. If after 96 then its from the abs.

    Obd two cars ie scart socket under ashtray run speedo through the abs, (Obd1 Code reader on ecu box) run it off the back of the gearbox,

    has anyone any idea of the colours ect or where the splicing is done?

    You can get them the wrong way round, i spliced into the wires off the abs sensor then bullet connected into the gearbox plug, if you get them the wrong way round just unplug it and plug it back the oposite way.

    Very easy

    gav is the speedo sensor on top of the box or is that the reverse switch?

    I've lost my speedo too!
    along with the ABS, tracs and electric wing mirrors!! lol

    I think I need a new ignition barrel??

    I see a fair few posts have been wiped off his counter lol.

    Mods are on form today
    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...
