P1 V70 list of niggles. Please add to it.......

I find it quite amusing really, and I enjoy putting these things right, but I list some of the niggles that I find with the cars that I buy:-

1) Driver's door windowswitch not working correctly
2) Driver's door checkstrap broken
3) Bonnet release cable issues
4) Rattling tailgate
5) Tailgate struts won't hold the tailgate up
6) Door open lights stay on even when the doors are shut

Please add to the list if I've missed anything................

Mine has a few niggles like that, have spent the last few weeks putting them right. Tonight's was sorting the drivers interior light not working when the doors opened but worked when switched on individually. Just took the light unit switch apart and cleaned all the contacts as some when crudded up. Next task is to LED them all

i got one mark..its very strange but on a p2.......

a 2001 s60 that works......properly! hmm...thats done it!

So it's out with the insulation tape for you as well then? That's the best way of curing the tailgate rattle that I've found.
