    V40 outside air temp sensor

Does anyone know the location of the sensor that sends the signal to the dash board on phase 2 V40's? Just got 3 dashes where the temp should be displayed.
    Cheers

I had this problem on my V70. As well as the blank reading, it would sometimes read silly temps like -45. This also stopped the air con working (bloody annoying just after I had a re-gas). Turned out to be the big connection on the drivers door switchpack had furry contacts for the outside temp sensor in the door mirror.
Worth checking connections before spending money

On further examination, it seems I am missing the sensor completely. Cue a call to Rufe and one is winging its way to Barnsley

Got new sensor today, had to replace the plug also as it was corroded due to being left in the open. Chopped one off at scrappy, wired it in and hey presto a fully working temp reading on the dash :-)
