    Drill powered Kiddy cars

With Christmas looming, I thought it was time to think about presents for the two youngest grand kids, so bought a set of plans off ebay and made a start on number one today.
The car uses a Kitchen flip bin for the front bonnet and the boot lid, and is powered by a cordless drill.

Mods, slap my wrist and move this somewhere else if you see fit

    Awesome!

You could performance tune it and buy Peachey's mobility scooter and use the motors

You could also have Peachey's old springs and make it an off roader (sorry Martin )

Fantastic idea. I bet they will love them. You could use an SDS drill and tell them it's a diesel
Can't wait to see the finished cars.

Todays update, Front and rear axles made, and bonnet cut to shape, I can't do the steering until my wheels arrive, so that i can make the stub axles.

Due to not getting the correct kitchen bin, I can't make the lid work as a boot, so just made it out of mdf.

Made a start on the accelerator system:

and made a start on the steering:
