Where to get these?? with pics

I fancy changing the alloys on my P2 V70 t5, i bought the car and the previous owner had kindly "upgraded" the alloys to the later facelift 17'' alloys.

After having the remap, ive found the car really struggles to put the power down (especially when damp) so i thought that changing the 17's to 18's might help abit, along with other mods.

But ive taken fancy to these alloys, i think theyre on the P3 V70's? Anyone know where to get a set? Apart from main stealers? Just thought they would be a change than some R wheels??

18" pegs take 225-235 tyres iirc.

    good tyre choice also helps.

Sadly they will not fit the earlier cars like yours as the centre bore is smaller. I had these as a Factory Option on my G3 V70 RDesign and they looked the 'Muts Nuts' when new.

bigger wheels wont give you more grip, and will make your car slower

if you change the ratio tyre correctly it won't make any difference. If he does go for a bigger rolling diameter then it will raise the gearing ratio, so less acceleration (which is the problem), but give a higher top-end

the wheels your after are Fortuna. They are 18x8, 5 Lug, 108mm Bolt Pattern, 55mm Offset

you can get them to fit if you get someone to machine out the centre

they didn't help his traction tho lol

Im not necessarily after a bigger rolling diameter, but rather a wider wheel than the 215's that are on the car at the moment. I changed my p1 wheels many moons ago from 16'' 205 wide to 18'' 225 wide iirc, that helped with grip and tyre wear. With the new wheels (whichever ones i end up buying) Ill be putting some decent rubber on them.

I might not get the same results from changing from 215 to 225 wide, but every little helps

if you can get 215's on then i'm sure 225's will fit on your current wheel
