    Tyres

    Morning All,

My S60R has been failed on the MOT because the front tyres have less than 1.6mm tread. I've just been shoping about for Vredestien Ultrac Sessantas and there is little or no stock (and apparently they are being phased out).

So, what are the other recommendations and what should I avoid?

    Nick0

Just to add the tyres on the car should be the same tread depth on all 4 tyres or within 1.5mm front to back,or the awd system could be damaged.
The tyres I fitted to my S60R were hankook v12 evos but they are a summer tyre.

I just ordered four Vreds from Camskill. £435 for tyres plus £60 fitting onn top of the £260 service and the £54 MOT. think I might start quoting Rude Kid from Viz....

That only apply's to the phase 1 system. The P2 has a different system
    Thanks

Nice one Martyn, I want to swap the tyres that didn't fail the MOT (the rears) onto the front and scrub them before fitting the new Vreds...good to know that 1.5mm won't do any damage!
