    P0502 code

    My dads car just threw up this code.
    Any ideas ? Sensor , abs ring.
    car is 2002 s60 2.0T

    I wonder if this is something to do with a DIM error i.e. 'Speed Sensor' , or whether it's something further down the line.....

    Oh, just been browsing the net and found this that might help you...

    "Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-510F (no signal) is stored if there is no communication between the ABS/brake control module (BCM) and the engine control module (ECM) or if the communication is distorted."

    Won't be DIM.
    Might be worth unplugging the abs ecu/pump and cleaning the contacts. Worked on mine when I had a brake code.
    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

    What should the contacts be cleaned with?

    More than likely a faulty abs sensor, or a broken abs reluctor ring. More than likely on the front right.
