I've not been reading too closely but I thought I'd just point out that I have a spare DMF from my ME5? (2.5T AWD) if you need me to check what type it is or if it's useful for your conversion. Just letting you know before the engine goes to scrap, it's your FOC if need be.

Thanks Sam, I'll bare it in mind, but I have sourced a smf of a well known regular ( thanks again Colin ), but should this not work it is nice to know there are other options available

We'll she's in the garage on axle stands, time to attend to some seriously rusty brake disc's, the fronts are shot, but the rears have a good bit of milage left in them, which is lucky as I not sure if these are available again, thought that I heard that V70Rawd Ph3 rear vented disc's where available, but can't remember where I heard this, anyway got to get the rear off yet, as the handbrake is giving me some grief

Well it gives you a week till jayne removes your man bits if it's not done

She was still a runner, but just parked up till I'd decided what to do with her and gathered up all the bit's I needed to convert her to manual, But a slight change of heart at present, as you probably know from the other weekend in york, I've decided to mot her a send her in to the local main dealer to have the box flushed and the software up dated, hopefully this will cure the ills we have at present and new top engine mount to be fitted and the others thoroughly check over as I think these aren't helping with clonking as the box changes gear,I just need a bit of overtime to be done to make the funds available to get her back on the road quickly, but the new shift pattern isn't helping with that at present, so I'd better get on with a bit ebay flogging of bits off the V70 donor car

No trouble mate m6/m56 onto the a49 to whitchurch, crossed over to oswestry and then off into Welsh hills, nice run and not too much traffic, unlike the run up. Good to see you again, do feel a splitter order is not too far around the corner

Worn planet plates in LSD locking the diff eventually stripping spline drive linkage between gearbox and transfer box. This is why my remains to be a fwd awd lol good diff here on shelf ready to go with new seals

Thanks Ben, but the V70R is ok, it is the 850awd that may have a rear diff issue, I have a few to many Volvo's my mother across the drive thinks, it will be a bit better when the remnants of the 2.0l v70 go to the scrappers, only 5 then.....lol
