    Coolant leak 850 Tdi

My 850 has developed a water leak:

The symptoms are a loss of coolant, that it! It is loosing about a pint every 30 miles.

There is nothing obvious i.e. stream escaping, mayo in oil, oil in water, steam in exhaust etc..

    Any suggestions?

    thanks

Possible heater matrix maybe? Check to see if the passenger side floor is wet in the front. Other than that let the car get up to temp and leave it running until the fan kicks in, you will see if the rad is leaking then from underneath as it will be under plenty of pressure.

Checks already done, all dry, and no visible leaks.

The hoses do not feel very pressurised when hot,

Check where the pipes connect to the bulkhead, mine leaks there sometimes (although I have different connections than yours, it may be worth a look)
