New exhaust for V70r 1998 which one?

just had my car serviced and it needs a new twin back box, Volvo want £300 for this. I dont know if to buy a complete new system, ferrita, BSR, etc. Could anyone give me some advice on which way to go?
Any suggestions would be welcome even from other kits, if you have had one fitted how pleased are you with the sound? and how much was it? I just dont know what to do, help me guys!

Depends what you want but Powerflow are only the standard 2 1/4" diam. exhaust .....apparently 2 1/2" is best for the same money from others.

Just to put ten pence in, my Beastie has a BSR turbo back system on. 3" from the turbo to the cat(that's the down pipe section) and 2.5 to the tail pipe and in my opinion sounds lovely. Has a nice little rumble at idle and sounds good when the taps are opened but no drowning when cruising. It's stainless so should last a while. Tbe car also feels more lively due to the larger bore.
Just some thing for you to consider. They quite pricey although I bought mine second hand from a member.

I Mic'd it at the hole in the flange were it mates to the turbo, the hole was 3" plus or minus a nats willy. It's bigger than the outlet on the turbo. Suprisingly by about half an inch. Honest
