    anoying fault on V reg c70 2.3 T5

    help please before i scrap her car (because then she wants an XC90 )

    we have a c70 t5 and when she bought it the engine light was covered up with black tape but she didnt notice and was surging on tick over

    but any way scanned it give code of p1132 cleared and ok for 1 week

    then

    light on again so scanned and same code so replaced rear sensor post cat

    cleared code and ok for three days

    light on scanned p1132 and p0422

    checked forums advised MAF sensor changed that and ok for a week or so then etis light and engine light on

    disconnected battery to clear ecu and all was well for 3 week (nearly started celebrating ) when ding light on and same codes again
    kepp clearing codes but light comes back on day after and once a week etis light comes on

    thinking of changing cat but cant seem to get one other than flea bay

    any help much appriciated

    P0422 Three-way catalytic converter efficiency Intermittent Fault

    P1132 Front heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) Signal too high. Intermittent Fault

    The front sensor is the one in the downpipe, if this is giving mixed signals it will effect the fueling, replace it with a gen bosch item. I wouldnt worry about the cat untill you have sorted the lambda issue out.

    Did you use a gen bosch MAF or was it an ebay special?

    hi maf was a gen bosch off ebay

    will change front sensor and report back
