no defo was a massive v8, you reckon yours is 300bhp with loads of torque so 11bhp is not much in mate really and i had fwd, ive done a 2.2 60ft in my v70r, what was your terminal? if its that fast once rolling, only around 96 mph if i remember rightly lol

Your v70r had more torque as well, didn't it? So yes, even a bit more power and torque when a car weighs nearly 200kg should make a difference, especially in a manual.

99.8 was my terminal and if you read what i said again and read it properly, you'll see that i said it isn't that quick once its on the move, only a bit quicker than my s70r 30-90mph. The only reason it can do a 14.4 is because it gets off the line quick for a 2wd auto barge.

The reason i think something was up with your "540" is that you said i'd be lucky to get 0-60 in 7 seconds. Anyone who has been in mine would say it will easily do it in that time, so maybe there was something wrong with yours.
Tell you what i'll bet you £1000 that my car can do 0-60mph in less than 7seconds and £50 that it can do it in under 6 (just lol)

I reckon it will on a grippy enough road. I need to find a private flat road somewhere and film it so it can be timed properly, not just a mate with a stopwatch. Also need to find out what a true 60mph is on my clock and next time i'm at a 1/4mile i will do a powerstart, just for you and smithy...... because i know he's determined to get my to destroy my gearbox lol

My car will be running and mot by Xmas mate don't worry about .you don't understand that I really miss my 940 and the look and power of her.the s40 is great as an everyday car but I want my 940 for the fun weekends .she will be fully tuned and sorted ready for the new season next April and have a full fat 140 bhp to play with too then let's see if peeps beat me on the strip lol

liam - your target time is 13.98 @ 105 which was my best in the t4 . lost the slip but the 60ft wasnt not great. most of speed picked up in second half once it got to 3rd and NOS torque really got going.

you wont be under 6 sec to 60 . standard t4 time from the book 7.1 (as tested by volvo - optomistic!)

never measured mine by it was not less than 6. - volvos are too heavy!
