Tracs warning and abs warning lamps

Hi all just got back from visiting relatives and just around the corner the Tracs warning light and ABS warning lamp came on the dash at the same time any ideas what to check first, or any common fault with these early V70 T5 to look for ? any help would be good as im due to go away next week to South Wales with the Grandkids and need the car working well. Also the ignition barrel has started to turn round when the steering lock is on.
    cheers
    Ian

Thats right, i got mine done on e-bay £45 and it has been great ever since. Ian just look on e-bay for ABS repair it's a common fault with these models I drove mine for months before i got it fixed, it first came on when i was in Serbia stuck in traffic so i was a long way from home!
I think Volvo wanted something like £400 for a new one.

    regards

Yes mate, mine had all the above plus no speedo but rev counter was working. One ABS ECU refurb later and it is perfect. Had mine done by Volvogear via Ebay, £58 to include recorded delivery with a 2 yr guarantee and 48 hr turnround time. Money well spent
