Lightbulb Tuning info needed asap :)

Ok so as some of you will know i have a large project underway,
    http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showthre...le-project-%29

but now i need some info for whiteblock tuning.

As far as im aware the main ball ache on white blocks are the rods.

    The standard turbo is a 15g (numbers i can find. 15g - - - - 89-01310 barcode > 9146785)

The re-map is sorted as ARD tuning are interested in sponsoring my project

So whats the best and easiest mods? turbo/injectors/remap/

obviously when i get the car finished i need to service her anyway so why not get building now

I suppose the main question is how much power do you want? The ecus on these cars aint the best for custom mapping, so if you want to go for big power then it may be best to get a Turbo tuner ecu, which costs a fair bit more than an off the shelf map but is far better when it comes to having more upgrades, but is still about half the cost of a full standalone ecu.

The 15g turbo is quite small, but does boost well at low revs, though you'll definatly need a bigger turbo if you want more than 300bhp. As for injectors, again it depends on how much your looking for, most on here go for volvo green injectors (s60r) or vxr blues when going over 300bhp.

Rods would be a good idea when going over 300bhp.

Places to start then should be a 19t turbo, vxr or volvo green injectors, larger throttle body, race cat or de-cat and also a good fmic, there are a few different manifolds from newer cars that'll help get more power(me7 or s60r manifolds). Those mods, with good mapping, should see you comfortably past 300bhp.

I'm sure they'll be others with alternatives and other good tips for getting more power out of your car.

if ARD are sponsoring you i'd be seeing what spec Lucky recommends for his higher stage maps, he's an unbelievably knowledgeable chap (& helpful)
