    Mmmmmm 850R on coilovers

This is one for the technical peeps, as some of you are aware I've fitted coilovers on my estate, but the ride has gone from sublime to bouncy, bordering in annoying!!! I took it out today for the first time since fitting and the ride is hard which I expected, but if I hit a bump and believe me, the roads around here are crap, it bounces for miles... I've never had this with previous cars on coilovers , but they were all on expensive options, not the cheapies I've put on now. I understand you get what you pay for, but thought I would try... Can anyone explain how I may solve this or shall I just put if back to standard and throw these away...

Suggestions or ridicule will be welcomed..

Not sure I can help, mine is very choppy on the road as well, but on track it's transformed, I did replace the rear springs and put the standard ones back on, that improved it quite a bit for me.

Did you go for the pro sport ones by any chance? I had an old bmw touring on them a while ago.....

It did the exact same thing once it started bouncing, was epic around the bends thow. Shame they started leaking after 6 months pure abuse and big miles, but they did well overall, the roads are shocking around here so not so bad. Was eyeing them up for the R but fancy something a bit more upto the stick for this one.

Yeha fairplay enjoy it mate they are very good fun for the price tbf. Might just be a matter of finding the right setup for the volvo, i never tried messing with it on the bmw, maybe i should have! Might consider buying some instead of the koni setup im eyeing up as the price difference is silly!
