hi all..... car died again due to erratic idle as my Bosch MAF is on its way out, so i bit the bullet & fitted the 20 quid aftermarket MAF i surplus'd from ebay about 4 months ago.....
problem solved!!!! car runs like a charm again..... dare i say it actually seems smoother, idle is a little lower too, how long it will last is anyone's guess... but the cheapies do work.
