Unhappy N/S Rear passenger door speaker.......

Is making horrible "pffffttttftft pftftftftft" noises even at low volume.
    Sounds like it is goosed

If I have time over the weekend I'll pop the trim off and see if it is just something loose vibrating, but it doesn't sound like it.

Honestly not sure what I'm doing Sunday though, hence not put my name down for it

If I can make it I will, if not I'll grab it off you sometime soon (I'll dash down after work one evening next week)...the "pftftftft pftftftftft pftftftftftf" is driving me nuts.

Foc mate, I'm just about to scrap a pair of doors with good speakers. Save them going to waste.

Well I met up with Mr blade earlier and helped with his farty-speaker problem.
The conclusion was as predicted - cooked coil.
So with the aid of a drill and a rivet gun, all sorted

Had a bit of a chat about stuff, poked around the cars and to be honest, if we had showed - up in anything other than Volvos, we'd have looked a bit dodgy lol.

Nice to catch up with you again Chris,

    Some pics...

    Thank you very much Martin.
I had a pleasant run home, it was nice to have some tunes on the go again.
Good to chat with you...we had our own little two-man softie meet.

I agree with Graham, Dark wheels really do suit your car...esp with the multicolor flake in them.
