Shaving Alcantara seats works, in a fashion.

Seriously, when I bought my laser V70 R, the cream Alcantara fabric was 'bobbly' to say the least. Took my razor to it, and the appearance improved considerably. Washed the razor thoroughly and carried on using it for my face! Think it will have caused premature wear to the seat, but I'll get a new seat at some stage.....

best thing to remove bobbles is a fabric comb

works wonders on Alcantara, and also the felt type backing where feet go, on 40 series booster seats

I held the razor head in place so it couldn't swivel which I found helped a lot.

I have a bobble shaver and various other specialist implements, including various scalpels, but when used to work on these sort of fabrics, the fabric comb did a far better Job, and could tell customers to go and get one, for when bobbles re-appeared, you can also get a nice look, like a neatly hoovered new carpet, by brushing against the pile/nap
