    '55 Plate 2.0D Euro4 V50 - Engine system service

    Hello Everybody

Carried out a little service on my car today, one item of which was the fuel filter. After finally managing to get the system (kind of) bled, I got her started and ran the bubbles out of the system.

Took her for a test drive and got 'Engine System Service Required' pop up on the dash.

Any ideas? Never seen this one before.

    Ta in advance.

    ,.,

if its not the service light then it may be the particulate filter,
also if you done oil change then dont top oil up to the max, leave it just under as recomended by volvo.

I've been hunting information on DPFs all afternoon and can confirm that I don't have one... so it's not that. I remain confused, thanks though.

I'm wondering if it could have anything to do with the air it would have pulled through after the fuel filter change.

Oil change wont be til later in the week when I can get it on a ramp at work.

You need to get the car fault code read - it could be anything, don't assume its the DPF.
