C70 T5Took the new toy out for a spin tonight and it wasn't too enjoyable as the dump valve seems to open at 3500rpm which obviously takes me off boost and just keeps venting air, any suggestions??

Thanked 813 Times in 601 Poststake it out mate,mine used to do the same its the most annoying thing the car never seemed right so i took it out slapped a blanking plate on the turbo and not only did the car run better and smoother it sounds the dogs danglys
failing that you need a stiffer spring in the dump valve 
full respray..plenty of body mods..comets..ray cat back noise pipe..decat and wrapped downpipe..me7 exhaust manifold..3" throttle body with ported inlet manifold..blue injectors..adjustable fuel reg..reverse intercooler pipework..19t..open cone air filter..255 fuel pump..m-r-p short shift..boost gauge..unknown remap..adjustable suspension..lightweight crank pulley..n/a cams..stripped out interior..and a heavy right foot

If it's a diaphragm one maybe it has popped...??
If its a piston one, maybe the spring has gone??
