Truth be told the whole lot is fairly dirty and all the door cards have had a thorough clean.

The seats will require some "restoration" however I still have a pot of magic chemicals which should do the trick.

    Please excuse the poor pictures...

    The transformation is complete!

In the end I changed all the trim to the black version including dashboard. The seats I got however were so poor that I decided against using them. It has created a somewhat unique interior though both black and beige.

Ill hold out for a mint dark estate interior but for now at least it looks much better.

Oh and I had to enlist a helper (T5RPete) as the dash was blooming heavy!

It took around 3 hours to do, its quite a fiddly job and believe it or not you need to delve into the engine bay remove the scuttle guard and wiper motors before it will come out.

However that is the hardest part, after that 20 or so torx bolts and its out.

3 hours is very good going, plus you did the door cards, job well done there.

I honestly thought you'd lost the plot when you started removing the scuttle and wipers to do the dash!

Good job you knew how to do it, i'd have never guessed!

Bloody good effort there lads, the dash is something I'm not keen on tampering with.
But then mine's a temperamental P2 that's likely to throw a code as soon as I fart in the bloody thing lol.

A little update, the car has been leaking water lately so time for a thorough investigation.

Turns out the radiator and one of the turbo coolant pipes had sheared and was causing a substancial water loss (emptying expansion tank every 5 minutes!)

    So back on the ramps...

Oh and of course the Aircon rad was ditched too when the radiator came out as its broken anyhow.
Arguing is pointless....she may not be right but she's never wrong

Tell her a remap is just having your satnav updated.....
