    Intermittent Clicking Type Noise

    This is a strange one,

Sometimes when I turn the ignition on I get a clicking type noise from the alternator/PAS pump area.
But other itime it doesn't happen till I turn the engine on.

The noise itself only last for a few seconds, and its a fast clicking type noise.

I'm guessing its either the alternator or PAS pump, but I'm just not sure.

Has anyone had this before or got any idea to what it could be?

If its a phase 2 car I wouldnt worry. I can get in mine and close the door and before i put the key in theres a click from the dash, one from somewhere in the back and 2 more from the front. In oes the key and like you a noise from the front, followed by some more clicks.
Everything still works ok so im not too fussed about it.
