A BIG Thankyou to 'TFM' I salute you!!

I asked a while ago if anyone had a spare/scrap wheel hub for an 850/V70, so I could machine some new caliper carriers to accommodate my plans for 365mm front brakes using radial calipers.

TFM aka Emlyn responded and personally delivered from Norwich to Birmingham, as he was working nearby, he took at least a 40 mile detour to deliver to my door.

You couldn't ask anymore of a fellow enthusiast, he wouldn't take any fuel money, and even brought up some smaller parts that I'd had trouble locating.

I cannot thank you enough. All the bits are now in the machine shop so fingers crossed my crazy plan might work!!!

Much appreciated, this is why I love this forum.

Pleasure Neal... always happy to help. Fingers crossed it should all work nicely. Certainly have some stopping power with the Caliper/disc combination you plan on using.

I might be trying to Kid myself but just provides me more ammunition to store things in the garage for longer "Just Incase" someone needs them

    VW/Audi calipers and carriers, golf/passat V6 pads, Volvo XC90 336mm discs I think!!

The list is very long mate, people have already called dibs, but if it does work I will clean off the setup im using now and look for part numbers etc, that way everyone can benifit. Watch this space.
