    I've just had an idea... (I know, it don't happen often)

    What about a roof - mounted intercooler with a sodding great scoop? think of the amount of airflow AND no heat soak!(low flying pigeons could be an issue )

    Liking this thread - it's bonkers

    M-R-P .........yes i like the idea of a roof scoop. But the rear quarters have scoops in them. and the intercooler is going to have stainless steel ducting to it so the air is force through it.

    Looking good, but can I ask why you have the intercooler that way around, the pipe runs would be shorter if you had inlet and outlet at the bottom.
