    door alignment

I just noticed that the drivers door on my 850 seems to have dropped slightly- only my a few mil but just enough to notice.
Meant to be selling it so needs fixing.
Can the doors be adjusted ? I notice there are a couple of screws on the hinges
    cheers

how old is it? some are prone to sag you can adjust but if they are stretched the hinge is welded so its a bodyshop job, i had a similar prob with driver door as the hinge bit is part of the pillar(welded not bolted, damn it)and was stretched so instead of bodyshop i took up as much as poss using new pins and adjusting as much as i could get away with.

Interestingly (but not helpfully, sorry fireplums) the ex-police cars tend to lose their passenger door first, and all other Volvos the drivers door... another good way to spot ex-cop.
