    xc70 &xc90

    Dose the xc70 and xc90 suffer from angle gear trouble. Thinking about getting one instead of the s60

    dunno mate but a local dealer has an x reg P2 xc70 for £4000, at was a 2.4t. they were offering a full warranty, so perhaps they were confident that it wasn't about to shat its box out or set fire to it's own speedo!
    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

    Angle gear collar stripping is common, more so in the heavier 90 than the 70, but both do suffer it.
    AFAIK the collar was redesigned in '06 and now it's stronger, the pre 2003 cars have a viscous coupling and should be avoided if possible....
