Well then, refurbish the head (seals, skim, etc) bang a new belt on it and you know its good for another hidden amount of smiles

Perhaps refurb the bottom end (seals, bearings, etc) to go that little bit further.

Depends on whether you're attached to it though. If you want something else then its not going to be worth it.

I would always renew headbolts mate, for the cost of a new set of bolts, you'll have peace of mind that they're as they should be.

well the heads back on with new gaskets/bolts etc but the process has ground to a halt. time n inspiration somewhat lacking lol. think i'm gonna try n farm the rest of the work out (refit cams new belt and the several miles of pipework etc. so if there are any capable spanner guys vaguely in my area who fancies a few beer tokens, perhaps you'd like to pm me and let me know what it would take to get t5 back on the road. p.s. i'm away the 2nd august to the 14th thanks Gareth

Ok still working on that 2-3-2 code bin out done a few miles mostly ok apart from the 2-3-2 but that was there before, tis a bit lumpy on tickover seems ok on the motorway etc. but seems to run better on the lpg so i'm wondering could the petrol injectors have got a bit bunged up sitting in the boot for 4 months? have ordered some Forte Injector Cleaner see if that helps.

But my main concern engine still seems very tappety? noiseier than i remember it by far seems fairly across the board ie;- not just one rattling is this normal after a top end rebuild? Any clues much appreciated Cheers!
