at the garage where i work we had a freelander come in that was really tappety and i turned out the owneson done the head gasket and he had put the sealer for the cambox on so thick that it filled the oil passages and stoped the oil getting to the tappets and the cam bearings.

Yep I was advised when I did my sump that the sealant is only required at a very thin layer to mate the surfaces. First time I did it I made a 5mm bead which was a but excessive!

    Use this for sealer http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/...oducts_id=4420
You can get it on ebay cheaper but i cant find it at the minute
Squirt a bead onto a piece of cardboard and then roll it onto one of those small sponge decorating rollers and roll it onto the cam cover, does'nt look like there's ever enough on but i've done loads and never had a leak.

You have to watch a lot of the aftermarket radiators, they don't always have the oil coolers in them, even though they say they are for a T5

Picked up new radiator today from Braydons Volvo in Clapton London E5 wont have time to fit it till saturday i'd guess oh joy lol.

Am now also thinking to change the injector seals the blue ones that the injectors sit into? i guess they have a technical name/part number? are they expensive? should i change the seals on the injectors themselves as well? could these seals be causing the continuous return of the 2-3-2 fault code? Thanks Gareth

Those are just dust seals, the important ones are the black o rings at the top and bottom of the injector

these dust seals? dont think they've ever been changed also the seals? on the injectors themselves could any or all of these cause the 2-3-2 fault code? how often should they be changed? i've had car 4 years never done any of em am assuming they are all original but dont know for certain

ok rads in oh what fun lol. anyway just need the clips that hold the 4 oil pipes to rad guess they are only gettable at main stealers? are they expensive? and am thinking to change the seals that are on the actual injectors, guess it's likely a worthwhile thing as i've never done em dont supposed they'da been done before?
